Introduction

Are you ready to go down the rabbit hole? To visit a surreal world, where black is white and white is carrots?

A friend, Metacognician in Shanghai, describes the situation as follows: “Life is more absurd than movies. I've gone down the rabbit hole too, when it just becomes more and more strange and you wonder how that all is supposed to make sense.” I asked him if I should just embrace it. He answered, “Why should you ... change the universe?”

It started with a psychotic named Jim Kiraly who resides, we think, at 6329 Twinberry Circle, Avila Beach, California.

Jim Kiraly is a respected citizen. A churchgoer. A Vice President of Transamerica Corporation. And a violent abuser who tried to use an emergency anti-violence measure, one intended to protect battered women, to stop his victim in a wheelchair from writing a book.

Concise enough? :)

For attorneys: Jim Kiraly filed for CLETS against his son and victim, who lived 200 miles away, did not own a car, and was in a wheelchair. His son and victim was not asked to end communications. Jim had no (zero) specific and relevant allegations that were not perjury. But he turned down repeated offers of no-contact and a signed stipulation that gave him everything but CLETS. He insisted on CLETS if his victim ever once “discussed” him with third parties.

In the end, Jim Kiraly signed an agreement far weaker than the ones he'd been offered.

A review of Court paperwork and other materials will tend to confirm that Jim and other parties, including attorneys on all sides, committed multiple felonies, crimes, and faux pas. :P

The word “abuser” is stated here publicly and without equivocation. A formal offer is hereby made to reaffirm the word in writing and under oath. Attorneys will understand the significance of the point. In short, there is little terror of a threatened defamation suit on this side. Actually, we feel that such a suit will fit nicely up Jim Kiraly's abuser ass.

Jim has one son, Ken Kiraly, who invented the Amazon Kindle and is one of the leads at Amazon's secret Lab126. Another son, Tom Kiraly is one of the leads, a Vice President-CFO type, at medical insurance firms, including one of the largest, Humana Corporation.

These people and some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley legal circles have committed or are involved in multiple crimes.

For the next decade or two, we're going to explore the crimes that these people committed, the motivations and the denial involved, the background and histories that led each person to make the choices that they did, and ways to build upon what happened and move towards positive societal goals.

There's plenty to go over. These people committed or were involved in: Spousal abuse, child abuse, DDOS (a highly prosecutable violation of CFAA), extortion, perjury, conspiracy to commit perjury (a possible felony), false police reports, conspiracy to file false police reports (a possible felony), unlawful threats, barratry, defamation, malpractice, civil harassment, criminal harassment, abuse of process, and violations of SCCBA Professional Standards.

The point was to force Jim's oldest son and victim, me, to sign a gag order. I was in a wheelchair. I'd never made a single inappropriate threat against my abuser. I wasn't even asked to not to call anybody. But Jim threatened to put me in a violence database unless I agreed never to write about him.

I won the right to write, but I lost my home of 25 years, most of my possessions, my chances for retirement, everything. Everything but a realization.

I can make a difference. I can conduct research for legitimate and reasonable purposes, document what happened, and analyze the choices of the people involved:

Maggie told me that she didn't know what she could say to me about what happened. However, we have decades to work it out. It will be productive. I'd like to direct the attention of attorneys and other parties to the:

130825 Sunday — Ivan Kmeta's Birthday

A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2014.

130825. Today is Ivan Kmeta's 112th birthday.

1. Introduction.

This may be the last significant post for a while. It may explain some connections and fill in a few gaps.

This post is based partly on recollections of what I was told years ago. I used to have notes. In fact, I worked on the notes for 40 years. However, some of them are lost due to the Kiraly Cases. So there may be errors. In a way, Grace Kiraly has helped to kill what was left of the person at the heart of this post; Grace's father, Ivan Kmeta.

I'll write as accurately as I can without my notes.

2. Ivan Kmeta's youth.

Ivan Kmeta was born on August 25, 1901. He passed away years ago. The old century was in its late 90s and so was he.

As a boy, before World War I and the Russian Revolution, Ivan lived in a small rural town in the Ukraine known as Ichnia.

Life was primitive by modern standards. People often died young. But Ivan was happy at times. When he was very young, perhaps six or seven years old, he used to sing.

People in the town were apparently able to hear Ivan singing at home. It had something to do with the layout of the area. As I understand it, they'd tell each other, “That's Johnny”. Ivan is Russian or Ukrainian for John.

At about the same age, Ivan had an older brother who was studying to be a doctor. One day, Ivan leafed through one of his brother's medical books; a book which showed cut-away views of the interior of the human body. Ivan was amazed at the complexity of what he saw.

“Here is the soul”, Ivan told himself.

The family had high hopes for Ivan's older brother. But, as they put it later on, a cold wind came and took the older brother. He died suddenly. Life is fragile even today and it was more so at the time.

The Russian Revolution happened about a decade later. The people behind the Russian Revolution, known as Soviets, often killed large numbers of innocent people without a reason. To justify this, the Soviets worked backwards from the way that they wanted the facts to be. There are ironies that echo a century later in the Kiraly Cases.

If I understand correctly, the Soviets shot and killed most of Ivan's High School class. His friends were all dead. Friends gone and dreams fled. Ivan escaped the mass execution but things were difficult after that.

3. Ivan Kmeta's marriage.

Ivan fell ill with typhoid; this is a disease related to unsanitary conditions. He nearly died from the disease but he was nursed back to health by a military officer. The officer may or may not have been one of the Soviets. This part of the story is lost.

During about this period, about 95 years ago, Ivan was employed as a teacher. One of his students was a boy named Edward Kerechanko.

Edward had an older sister named Olga. Ivan eventually married Olga. Around the same time, he became more involved with organized religion. The Soviets tended to kill people involved with religion, so Ivan and Olga made attempts to leave the Soviet Union. They succeeded and left with their first child, a boy named Anatol.

Ivan and Olga stayed in Canada for a while. A daughter named Grace was born there. Grace became my Mother. A third child, a younger brother, was born later on. The younger brother became the father of the person I've referred to as Puzzle.

Jim Kiraly of Pismo Beach, California, and Tom Kiraly of Glenview, Kentucky, smashed my life, erased my chances for a family of my own, and even took my right hand, to prevent me from telling you this story. The story will be told regardless. It feels right.

4. Anatol Kmeta.

In later years, Anatol used the Anglicized name Tony. He was the Uncle who loved me and who I've written about elsewhere.

Grace, Tony's Sister and my Mother, didn't seem to like Tony. But Tony was kind and thoughtful towards everybody; at least, during the decades that I knew him. He used to call me “Professor”.

If Tony's Sister Grace aborted Bill Kiraly's child — Bill being Jim Kiraly's brother — it was probably Tony who took her to have it done. But Tony has been in his grave for two decades now. I can no longer speak with him. Dear God, as in Harlan Ellison's story, Paladin of the Lost Hour, if only one could speak with the dead. Even if only for one minute.

I don't know if I can locate Grace's friends from her wild days. One or two may still be alive; if so, they may be able to tell me the truth about my older siblings. But the full story may never be known.

Tony came down with cancer circa the early 1990s. It could have been treated. But he died for two reasons. It was due to a combination of two things. His reluctance to admit that there was a problem and poor medical care. In America, being less wealthy than the Kiralys can lead to a de facto death sentence.

When Tony Kmeta was dying, he asked me to look after his wife Ercie. Note: The name Ercie is short for Ercilia.

Tony's request to me was important to him. Ercie took Tony for granted and spoke roughly to him. But the two of them cared for each other. And Tony felt that Ercie was going to be alone now as far as family went.

Tony knew that after his death Jim Kiraly and Grace Kiraly would be civil but cold towards Ercie.

There were two Kmeta Family members in Tony's city, a sister in law named Shirley and her son Puzzle. I'll discuss them in a minute. These two people weren't likely to be of much use to Ercie. So Tony trusted me with the person who was most important to him; his eccentric but lively wife.

I didn't want to admit, myself, that Tony was dying. It was not an issue that I was prepared to face. But I promised to help Ercie and I kept the promise. I called Ercie frequently for two decades. I advised her on all matters to the extent that I could. Taxes, real estate, neighbors, church issues, and dogs and cats. I did what I could to help.

Over the years, Ercie occasionally tried to phone her sister-in-law, Grace Kiraly. But Ercie didn't like to do this. Jim Kiraly was controlling towards his wife Grace. It was strange. When Jim answered the phone, Ercie felt he was forcing her to prove she needed to speak with Grace, who Jim believed that he owned. It made Ercie uncomfortable.

As of 2013, I can't help Ercie any longer. She has acquired an illness related to the need to love and to help. It manifests through the accumulation of dogs and cats. She has about 20 animals. If somebody phones her, little can be heard but “Bark bark meow... bark bark meow”. The dogs, in particular, eat her Bibles and even her phones.

5. Puzzle.

My readers may recall a mystery figure I've referred to as Puzzle. I've used other names for him too. For what it's worth, he's been to IRC and some of my readers have met him.

Puzzle is the Son of Grace Kiraly's younger Brother and a Cousin to the Kiraly Brothers. He is the last surviving Kmeta of Ivan's line. But Puzzle has not claimed the centuries-old surname that is his birthright. Instead, he uses a surname that was chosen because it sounds more American. In decades past, it was not always safe in the United States to seem different.

Puzzle has been unemployed for most of his life. However, I taught him Linux and Coding over the years. He hopes to write stock-chart software and to make money using it. I'm doubtful that this approach will work long-term. But I've offered him such help as I can.

Puzzle has always lived with his mother Shirley. Same house for his entire life. Lives with Shirley to this day unless she is now deceased.

To clarify the latter point, the last time I checked, Shirley was in poor health. Her mind was nearly gone. It made me sad to realize this.

Puzzle played more than one role in the Kiraly Cases. In fact, he triggered some of the key events.

Puzzle relayed some of the threats that my abuser Jim Kiraly was making. My abuser's threats were what I wanted to speak to my Brothers Tom Kiraly and Ken Kiraly about in Spring 2012.

But my Brothers didn't take my calls or ask me not to call. Instead, one of them, Tom Kiraly VP of Humana Corporation, joined my abuser, Jim Kiraly VP of Transamerica Corporation, in legal actions intended to stop public posts such as this one. Ken Kiraly, inventor of the Amazon Kindle, felt that it was necessary to shut me up too.

6. Russell Kerechanko.

Edward Kerechanko, the boy who Ivan Kmeta had taught and Ivan's brother-in-law, eventually escaped the land of his birth. Both the Kmetas and the Kerechankos — Edward married a woman named Nina — settled in the U.S.

Edward became the father of George Kerechanko. George, in turn, became the father of Russell Kerechanko, the young man who died abruptly in 2013; immediately after the end of the Kiraly Cases.

I wrote a post about Russell's death which led the Kerechankos to contact me. They requested a takedown of Kerechanko material. To read the post in question and a longer post wherein I refused to take it down, use the following link:

Several Kerechanko posts

7. Ivan Kmeta's books.

Ivan Kmeta, my Grandfather and the man who was born on this day in the year 1901, had rough edges when he was young. But he grew increasingly gentle as the years passed. He wrote books of religious poetry, essays about Christ, stories that echoed his life, and even one book that was Science Fiction in a way — “Year 2000”.

In the 1980s, three decades ago, I made Ivan Kmeta cry. I pressured him to sign copies of some of his books so that I could give signed copies to the filth that are my Brothers. I felt that my Brothers ought to have the books. Emotion overcame Ivan as he signed. But he proceeded and gave the copies to me.

Somebody associated with the Kiralys has written to me to threaten me over my public posts. This is the pretend “old friend” who claims to be from Las Lomas High School Class of 1976. The pretend “old friend” has described my Brother Tom Kiraly as an “All-American Kid”.

The term “All-American Kid” is interesting. Does the term mean that somebody looks “All American” in some vague and unspecified physical way? Where do hatred and lies fit into it?

Tom Kiraly had nothing that he could go after me for. He could not find a way to hurt me. I had left Tom voicemail messages about the abuser Jim Kiraly. Tom hoped to convince the Court that the messages had been “threatening”. But, the fact is, I had “threatened” legal actions in the event that my abuser tried to hurt me again. If Tom had tried to use that in Court, it might have been awkward for his side.

Even better, Tom had never asked me not to call him.

Despite the fact that Tom Kiraly was wealthy — and wealth is what decides legal cases — Michael Bonetto, Tom's attorney, was aware that the voicemail messages weren't going to be enough.

So Michael Bonetto and Tom Kiraly used Ivan Kmeta's books of religious poetry.

Tom Kiraly lied even about minor details. For example, he suggested that Grace had given me the books. The fact is that I'm the one who gave the books to Grace. So that my Brothers could have them. Grace promptly lost the books, but that is a separate issue.

In the Spring of 2012, I tried to give Tom some of Ivan's books that I had left. As part of a bequest to be made upon my death. Tom, brilliant and wise — actually, he's not the sharpest pencil in the drawer — cited the gift of Ivan's books as one of only two specific justifications that I recall for his legal action.

This part... I don't even begin to understand it. But Tom Kiraly has smeared sh*t, metaphorically speaking, on his Grandfather Ivan's books. And Tom has smeared sh*t on his Grandfather Ivan.

Tom offered one other specific justification for the destruction of my life. He described a Happy Birthday call I made to him in January 2012 as “stalking“.

Tom Kiraly neglected to mention that the Happy Birthday call was scheduled in advance, that Tom took the call as scheduled, that Tom and I chatted about a number of subjects, that Tom invited me to call back and even specified possible dates, and that in the months that followed, Tom never asked me not to call; not even once.

More awkward facts. Facts can be inconvenient, can't they?

As a side issue, there may have been signed copies of Ivan Kmeta's books for Puzzle as well as the Kiraly Brothers. Some of my notes are gone. I'm sorry to say that I don't remember.

During the Kiraly Cases, I started to realize that all of my possessions might be lost. Including the copies of Ivan Kmeta's books that I had left.

In early 2013, I asked Puzzle to store Ivan Kmeta's books for me in the event that I became homeless. Puzzle agreed to do so. However, his mother, Shirley, refused to allow Ivan's books of poetry in her house. Shirley said that I should give the books, all that remained of Ivan's gentle mind, to a fleamarket or to a garage sale.

I've learned a great deal about people over the decades.

8. In closing.

Some of this has been stated before.

In fact, I often repeat the story of Tom Kiraly's attempt to use Ivan Kmeta's books to put me in a violence database. I don't understand how the attempt was even possible.

My guess, as I've said before, is that Michael Bonetto of Hoge Fenton, the attorney who did what was possible to help an abuser hurt one of his victims again, assumed nobody would ever read the pleadings.

Regardless, I hope that this post clarifies connections and fills in gaps as promised.

I've included a photo of Ivan below that I've posted several times. It's another repetition but this is my favorite picture of him.

130824. std::vector, a Belorusian who lives in Walnut Creek, California, is traveling in Norway. However, he has sent me a letter. Here is what he says about his trip. To explain a related point, std::vector is presently a vegetarian:

Hi Robert, how are you doing? I got the beautiful trip to Norway: met my old friend; traveled by car; slept in forests and near roads; took baths in creeks, high-top lakes, and fiords; ate almost only breads and cheeses cause Norway has not much fruits, however they grow delicious strawberries and cherries. Sincerely, std::vector.

130824 Saturday — Coder Status Report

130824. Here's what's happened over the past few days.

1. On Thursday 130822 I met with Josef IRL. He said that I seemed better in some respects than I did two weeks ago; the last time that we saw each other.

Josef and I agreed that the parties involved in the Kiraly Cases, including the attorneys, probably don't have a “template” for the situation. I may explain what the term means in this context down the road.

2. My physical state, as far as the breathing-shock issue goes, is “off the cliff” presently. I haven't eaten today, Saturday 130824, but the issue is hitting while I'm writing this.

3. To address the breathing-shock issue, and possibly the “necrosis” issue that put me in the wheelchair as well, I need to find a good internist, endocrinologist, and/or rheumatologist in Silicon Valley.

Suggestions for Coder Doctors, people who are compatible with debugging approaches, are welcome. If you know a doctor of this type, feel free to send his or her name and phone number to:

kiralyfoundation@yahoo.com

4. On Friday 130823, I spent about half an hour with Mr. Wizard, a software developer IRL. He showed me the first episode of the uncut fansub version of an anime series named Psycho-Pass.

Psycho-Pass is a promising series though I'd rate the uncut fansub R for violence and adult themes. The story seems to be about a flawed system that is used to predict who is, and is not, likely to be violent. For more information on the series, click here.

Subsequently, I spent an hour with DNA the elderly attorney and his wife RNA.

5. Today, Saturday 130824, I played soccer. I've been unable to walk normally some days recently but today was O.K. so the game was possible.

I wore plastic goggles to protect my glasses. Also wore a tie in conjunction with a soccer uniform; it seemed natural. I probably looked silly with goggles and a tie. However, I was told that the tie matched the grass. One player added that the uniform should include ties in the future.

<OldCoder> There is one thing more
<BaconBits> ok

<OldCoder> We are far from identical. In fact, you, I, Router, Shiing Shen, and Metacognician are in different places on a Spectrum. Each is an individual. But there is enough of a parallel that I feel safe in saying this:

<OldCoder> Do not discard friends too quickly. In 40 years you may be glad to have kept one or two.

130824 Saturday — Kiraly Cases Coming Attractions

Tags: cases kiraly
A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2013.

130824. This is a temporary periodic post.

There's enough going on that I should probably post overviews of the different threads once in a while. Here are some of the current threads. This post may be dropped in the near future but may be reposted in a different form at a later date:

1. California State Bar Association. A preliminary letter, intended for Complaint Analysts and/or Investigators, was completed recently and is undergoing review prior to submission.

2. Santa Clara County Bar Association. I made an inquiry at this level related to the purpose of the Association's Professional Standards. The response was intriguing. Further interactions will definitely take place at this level.

3. Torts Actions related to Abuse of Process. These actions are a long shot but they may be possible. There certainly was Abuse of Process; few attorneys seem to be questioning this. They do feel that it's unusual to fight back. I'll need to be sure everything is nailed down before I attempt this kind of thing.

I'm preparing an alternate version of the State Bar letter for review by a local Torts Specialist. Additionally, I'm trying to learn more about case law as it may apply to the Kiraly Cases.

4. Legal papers. I've hinted at how odd the Kiraly Cases Pleadings were. Those documents are going to be posted. The Kiraly Cases Deposition is a must as well. Plus voicemail transcripts of messages that I left in 2012 — primarily for my brothers and not for my abuser Jim Kiraly, who lied under oath about all of this. There's lots of other material. It will take Time to sort through it.

5. Gathering Information. In the years to come, I absolutely intend to “gather” different types of “information” for a number of legitimate purposes. I see that my readers have been reviewing the Legitimate Purposes list this week. For anybody who missed the link, here it is.

Note for attorneys: The list, which I feel reasonable people are likely to agree is sensible, is not necessarily complete as it stands. It may evolve over time.

Gathering Information will be a process that will encompass a number of interesting areas.

It is a reasonable step, for example, to obtain current phone numbers for each household on Gerry Court, Walnut Creek, California and each household in other parts of Walnut Creek, the San Francisco East Bay area, the State of California, the State of Kentucky, and the United States; to communicate with each household to ascertain if people with relevant information presently live in said households or can be located; and to seek such information for the purposes outlined in the Legitimate Purposes list.

Jim Kiraly apparently contacted medical professionals in attempts to have me declared mentally ill by parties who had never met me or even communicated with me. The parties in question have not been conclusively identified but it is reasonable to assume, for the present, that they may have been located in the Santa Barbara and/or Pismo Beach areas.

It is certainly reasonable to contact medical professionals in the areas in question to identify parties with whom Jim Kiraly spoke. And to contact both medical professionals and government officials in the areas in question for other purposes outlined in the Legitimate Purposes list.

And it is reasonable to communicate with Churches such as some of those in Walnut Creek and in other parts of California, with anti-abuse groups, with news media, and with other types of groups, agencies, and individuals, again for the purposes outlined in the Legitimate Purposes list.

As explained in the Kiraly Cases Ironies post, it is reasonable to assume that I should explain to each party that I communicate with the context in which communication is taking place; such context including but not limited to facts related to the Kiraly Cases.

6. Family Photos. There's been some interest in the Kiraly Family Photos despite the fact I've only posted a few. Additionally, Google Images seems to have moved the Kiraly Family Photos to reasonably high rankings despite the fact I haven't done any SEO yet.

If you're one of the people who visits the Photos page, check the weblog pages. There are photos on those pages which haven't been copied to the Photos page yet.

At any rate, more photos will be posted over time. Despite the loss of many of my possessions, I think I was able to save most of the pictures.

I've got photos going back 90 years. Including a nice set from before my birth that appears to show Jim and Grace's courtship. I hope to determine the dates of those photos; there's still something about the timeline that needs to be looked at.

7. Genealogy. I worked on Kiraly Family Genealogy for 40 years. Tom Kiraly once took one of the pages from that material right out of my hands. His expression was strange as he did so. He wanted the page but he didn't ask me for it. I wasn't real to him.

Much of the Genealogy material is lost now; the Kiralys have succeeded in destroying part of their own past. But everything that's left of the Genealogy charts and the Family History in general is going to go online.

8. Russell Kerechanko. There are unanswered questions about the sudden death this year of a young man named Russell Kerechanko. I believe I may know how to obtain answers to the questions.

9. Other areas. Actually, there's quite a bit more. I figure I won't last long enough to finish everything. But we'll see what is possible.

130821 Wednesday — I'd like to eat food

Tags: cases kiraly medical
A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2013.

130821. This is a status report on a medical issue. Plus a few thoughts on mortality. The photo below the post is one the first sushi meals that I ever had. The sushi meal occurred in June 2013. I shared it with Garibaldi and Mr. Wizard.

1. We are mortal.

We are presently mortal. This will be true until the Singularity. Which, I regret to say, is less likely to come now than it was a few decades ago. The Transhumanists are most likely waiting in vain.

Or until the Rapture. A different sort of Singularity. One that is a subject for another day.

As things stand, we are not designed to live past the age of 30 years. These days, most people do live longer. But this is part of a shrug on the part of God or Nature. It was not part of the original plan.

Perhaps there is a Plan for us. But in a biological context we exist to pass our genes on.

Whether or not people are ready, in the modern world, to be parents by 18, the blueprints call for this.

Parents by 18. In primitive societies, human children are able to care for themselves by age 12. The parents are now 30 and superfluous from the standpoint of the genes. So, we fall to pieces after age 30. Over the six years that follow, the cycle starts to repeat.

Every year of normal life from age 30 on is a gift. We ought to be grateful for the gift. But one judges things based on what is usual and customary. In the modern era, we believe that we are entitled to more. The fact is, though, we are not.

2. Outliving people.

Others I've known have died. Or they are dying now. It's normal. I've outlived young people, peers, and old people. Most of the old ones who mattered are gone. Peers are now likely to thin out.

In the past, peers were vulnerable primarily to accidents, unexpected illness, or suicide.

Paul's suicide was one of the factors that led to the Kiraly Cases. Grace Kiraly, God Bless the Empyema that she has for a soul, never imagined that there might be a reason for the book.

Peers passing away will be a more usual occurrence as time passes. Ought I to be surprised if my own race is run? No. But that is not the issue that matters.

3. Taking stock.

I've examined my feelings. I'm not pleased at the possibility that the race may be shorter than I expected.

What matters to me is that it wasn't enough for these people to destroy me before I ever had a chance at a start. They felt that it was necessary to lie to destroy what was left of me. To take what remained of a future.

I should write off half a century of Hell. Dance with delight at the fact that I have been spared long enough to write these words.

The Kiralys took my right hand. But surely the fact that the hand surgeon is no longer an option is a “choice”.

The hand works well enough for me to function. I can hold a pen, dress myself, and use the bathroom unaided. I have relearned typing and I can be a Coder again. If the index finger bends backwards when I type, if other fingers are painful at times, I suppose these are minor issues.

The weight loss helped with other issues. I nearly died but I am not presently in the wheelchair. There is most likely a connection. It is odd that I do not feel gratitude bursting forth as it floods the psychic plain.

The wheelchair issue, and the damage to my hand, are most likely due to a rheumatoid auto-immune problem. The Kiralys call it a “choice”.

I am weary of these creatures that walk like men
But then
They have human faces
They have human hands
This is what defines us
Heart of hatred
Soul of pus
Heart of love
Child of God Above
Does not matter

The biggest medical issue right now is the breathing-shock issue.

It goes back four years. In August 2009 I ate some food and it put me into literal delirium for several days.

Delirium is an interesting state. Sometimes you're aware that something has gone wrong but you're constrained by the limits of your thought. Sort of like everyday life for most people. However, they turn away from that which they should strive to perceive.

I've experienced delirium a few times over the years. Started as a child. There was no medical treatment when it happened. Instead, I recall that Grace Kiraly ordered me to scrub my own vomit off the floor.

I'm not convinced there was a problem with the food that I ate in August 2009. The issue had been building. There was a period earlier in the year when food had made me sick.

If I remember correctly, the earlier 2009 illness was why Kevin King, the one from Las Lomas High School, decided that he did not wish to speak; though Kevin will not acknowledge that we are rarely in communication. His view is that everything is fine because he is more comfortable with this perspective.

After I came out of the 2009 delirium, my body was broken in new and interesting ways. Body temperature ranged up to 100-plus fever and down into the 80s in short periods of time. This did not seem possible. Food could not be processed. If I ate it too often I'd fall down. There were other issues.

Over the four years that followed, the issue improved. I've eaten food much of the time and I've enjoyed it.

However, food usually results, after a delay, in periods of weakness, inability to sit up, rapid breathing, and semi-consciousness. It is not drowsiness but a markedly different physical state. A few minutes of rapid breathing is sometimes sufficient to restore a normal state. But it can take an hour or longer.

Recently, food has not been not required to produce the issue. When I do eat, the results are not positive. I ate a snack in the morning today and a meal for lunch. I believe that I went into the shock-like state six to eight times during the 12 hour period that followed the snack. I lost count.

Lay people have offered opinions over the years:

* My Mother, Grace Kiraly of Pismo Beach, CA, considers the issue, and all medical issues that occur in situations that she finds to be inconvenient, to be a “choice” of some vague and unspecified type.

As I indicated to an associate in a letter posted here recently, Grace Kiraly is not necessarily a heartless b*tch whether or not she seems to be one. She is, instead, not sentient; a beast of the field. The distinction, admittedly, can be difficult to perceive at times.

If you wish to read the letter, you may click here.

* Others suggest that there may be a sensitivity to food components such as glutens. Experiments indicate that this may not be the case. The same foods do not always produce the same effects.

Additionally, there was a definitive shift four years ago. It seems unlikely that somebody would acquire sensitivities to most foods — including unprocessed “natural” foods — so abruptly.

* A few people assume that the issue is simply eating too much food. They relate it to their own experiences and therefore assume that it is a minor food coma. But small amounts of food will do it. And normal postprandial somnolence does not, as far as I know, involve dramatic symptoms.

* I've had no regular medical care for a decade. But a couple of doctors have guessed that the breathing-shock problem is related to thyroid or hypothalamus issues. This seems quite possible. The auto-immune problem may figure into this. Auto-immune problems can damage the thyroid and produce a range of symptoms. Somebody I know is undergoing treatment for something of this nature.

That's all for now. I've talked about the issue often enough on the blog that I thought a formal summary might be appropriate.

130821 Wednesday — My doctors

Tags: general
A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2013.

130821. The post above reminds me of my doctors. I'll write about them over time. This is an introduction.

1. Kiraly Cases Doctor Demand.

The Kiralys demanded that I provide them with a list of every doctor that I'd had since birth. Every page of every medical record since the 1950s.

The demand was invalid under the rules of Discovery. I directed my attorney, John H. Perrott of San Jose, to tell the Kiralys to shove the demand up their collective a**.

More precisely, I think that I offered a question similar to the following as a response. This is a paraphrase and not an exact quote. In particular, the “idiots” part and the closing remark were implied and not stated explicitly:

“Tell me, you idiots, where would the newborn Baby Coder have kept his documents? In his diapers? And are you demanding all of the documents that you yourselves gathered over the two decades that followed? Check your own damn files.”

I don't think that John used my wording. But if he filed a response to the demand — he sometimes neglected to file documents — it is my hope that the message was clear.

There's a lot of paperwork to go through. But I'll review the final version of the response when time permits.

2. Fishing expeditions.

The Kiraly Cases Doctor Demand demonstrated something important about the Kiralys and the Kiraly Cases.

James Francis Kiraly of Pismo Beach, California, was an abuser. It is unlikely that he will deny this fact under oath. The Kiraly Cases were primarily harassment of one of James Kiraly's victims intended to extort agreements that would prevent research connected to a book project.

The Kiraly Cases degenerated into fishing expeditions that sought to find something, anything at all, that could be used to justify legal actions retroactively. The Kiralys were desperate enough to do this that they demanded medical records dating back to my birth over half a century ago.

The fishing expeditions failed.

3. Advice to other people.

My advice to other would-be litigants, or to people seeking redress in general, is to do your research first. You'll have more time to “gather information”. And it will be less expensive.

I plan to take my own advice. I'll say more about the “gathering” of “information” for Legitimate and Reasonable Purposes another time. For the attorneys in the audience, here's the Legitimate Purposes link again:

Legitimate Purposes List

4. Coder Doctors.

I outlasted some of my doctors. Here's one reason why:

I sought Coder Doctors
Logical Doctors without fears
Body Engineers
Young doctors need to season
Before they can reason
Older ones seem more sage
No need for pretense of mage

I tried doctors of different ages but I found that Coder Doctors were usually older. The oldest ones are mostly dead or gone now.

One Coder doctor was of my generation. Or he was not much older than I. But his own body broke years ago. He was practical to the end.

I don't have lists of my doctors. But I remember some of the Coder Doctors. Especially the ones who died before I could thank them. I'll write more about them when I can.
